A “broker” is a person in your firm who signs in to Ekorra. Your clients don’t count: they use the portal without an account, with no limit on their number.

The trial starts the day you create your account and covers the whole product. No credit card, no automatic payment: at the end of the 3 months, you choose your plan with us, in writing.

Your firm sends documents to your client directly in the portal, alongside the ones they provide to you. Viewing is protected by a one-time code sent to your client’s email address.

We don’t sell verification by the piece or the portal as an add-on. What changes from one tier to the next is the number of brokers.

  • The list builds itself

    Paste your client’s profile or your call transcript; the AI proposes each document with its evidence (“‘incorporated late 2023’ — transcript 04:12”). You tick, adjust, approve.

  • A no-account, bilingual portal

    Your client gets a secure link, uploads at their own pace and asks an assistant that explains where to find each document, in their language.

  • Every file checked on arrival

    Wrong year, unreadable scan, wrong file: your client is corrected right away, in the portal. Every document reaches your review with its verification note and extracted key fields.

  • Your case templates and their stages

    New mortgage, year-end, incorporation… start from a template, adapt it, and let your client follow the stages of the matter from the portal.

  • The review stays human, then one-click export

    You review the file once submitted — complete or partial — and pull the checked files into a cleanly named ZIP archive.

Frequently asked questions

How does the free trial work?

You create your account and, from that day, you have 3 months to use the whole product for free — inferred lists, client portal, checks on arrival, review and export, with no limit on clients or files. We ask for no credit card and nothing is charged automatically: billing is agreed in writing, after the trial. When the trial ends, you choose your plan; otherwise, 14 days later, your account may switch to read-only — you can still view and export your files, we never hold your documents back, and your clients’ portals are never blocked. One trial per firm; the Premium option stays on request, during the trial as after it. We may change this offer for accounts created later; yours is the one in force on the day you create your account.

How does billing work?

It starts after the trial, never during it. Plans are monthly, in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes. There is no online payment yet, and no automatic payment: towards the end of your 3 months, we agree in writing on your firm’s plan and how you’d like to be billed, and you then receive an invoice every month.

Can I cancel?

During the trial, there is nothing to cancel: no card was asked for, no payment is scheduled. If you don’t choose a plan, your account may switch to read-only 14 days after the trial ends, and your files remain viewable and exportable. Once subscribed, yes, at any time, with no fees or notice period: an email is enough. Your subscription ends at the close of the month already billed. Remember to export the files you need before closing your account.

What counts as a “broker”?

Anyone in your firm who signs in to Ekorra — broker, accountant, notary or assistant. That’s our unit of account. Your clients are not part of it: they use the portal without an account, and there is no limit on how many you can have.

How does a multi-broker plan work?

The Firm plan covers up to 5 brokers in your firm; the Team plan covers everyone beyond that. Today, each broker signs in with their own account; sharing one workspace between colleagues — common clients and templates — is on our roadmap, with no date promised. Your price won’t change when it arrives.

Can I change tiers?

Yes, at any time, up or down. Write to us; the change applies to your next invoice.

How many clients or files can I manage?

As many as you like. There is no cap on clients, requests or documents, at any tier. The only limit is technical: 25 MB per uploaded file, which covers a scanned document of about a hundred pages.

Where is my data, and who can see the documents?

In Canada. Files, database and AI processing run in Google Cloud’s Montréal region, encrypted in transit and at rest. Each portal link opens a single request: only your firm and your client can access it. Documents are permanently deleted 12 months after a request closes.

How do I get started?
